Islandview Veterinary Hospital in Fredericton is seeking a full-time veterinarian to fill an available position in our staff. We are a multi-veterinarian hospital with two locations in the Fredericton area. The position available is at our New Maryland location which has recently been expanded and completely renovated. We have a full IDEXX in-house laboratory and direct capture digital radiography. We also have Esaote ultrasound and two full surgical suites with new anesthetic monitors and active scavenging system. A flexible endoscope is on site as well as a surgical laser. We have digital dental imaging equipment recently installed. Our veterinarians are supported by five registered veterinary technicians and the rest of our veterinarians are always eager to assist in difficult cases. Fredericton currently has a shared on-call rotation with several local clinics to reduce on-call frequency. Islandview Veterinary Hospital is on-call one night per week and every third weekend. The position includes a compensation for CE, uniform allowance, NBVMA and CVMA dues. We also provide medical and dental coverage. Applicants are encouraged to forward their resumes.
