Central Toronto Veterinary Referral & Emergency Clinic is looking for an experienced emergency veterinarian to join our dynamic team of emergency, surgical, internal medicine and oncology specialists. CTVR&EC is a privately owned, premier specialty centre, providing the highest quality of care for our patients, clients, and referring veterinarians in an environment tailored specifically to our patients and their families in a caring and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities include both primary and referral emergencies and care of our in-hospital referral patients. You will be working along side highly experienced veterinarians and technicians and have access to onsite ultrasound, digital radiography and computerized tomography, surgical suite(s), state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and in-house blood testing, including blood gases. Ideally, you will have a minimum of one-to-two years of critical care and/or emergency experience however we offer a mentor-ship program for the right candidate. Preferably, applicants have a solid knowledge base in emergency medicine and are comfortable with emergency surgery.

ALLANDALE VETERINARY HOSPITAL is looking for a full-time small animal veterinarian to join our team in Barrie, the gateway to cottage country. If you are interested in practicing high quality medicine in a patient centered hospital with a great group of clients and 50 staff, we welcome you. We are a busy eight physician hospital, consistently growing, Feline Friendly and AAHA accredited hospital operating for 29 years. While a busy practice, we encourage work/life balance with three day weekends 50% of the time and usage of an emergency clinic for after hour coverage. Our staff includes exam room assistants and six full-time RVT’s. We have an in-house IDEXX based lab, Eklin digital radiography unit, dental radiography unit, rehab area with laser and underwater treadmill, ultrasound machine, access to on-site ophthalmologist one day per week and ability to provide orthopedic surgeries such as TPLO’s in-house. Our team members are Fear Free certified, and we are working towards clinic certification. We love volunteer work so there is always the opportunity to join a trip for our not-for-profit charity to northern Ontario, the Caribbean or Central America. We also work closely with several rescue organizations. We strongly encourage continuing education and any special interests. This position includes competitive remuneration and benefits.
